all 50 states, Washington D.C. and four U.S. territories will hold
contests to choose which democratic presidential candidate each
state or territory will support at the national party convention
later this year.
Bar-Noy
moves to LS
Current Judaics
Studies Coordinator Yoram Bar-Noy will move to the Lower School
this July to become Assistant Principal, to focus on the Judaic
studies content and Jewish life of the Lower School.
School's
10 year goals met
During a 16-hour
meeting which took place in mid-July of 1994, parents, board members
and administrators set numerous long-term goals for JDS, which they
now see as largely fulfilled.
Pope,
chief rabbis meet
At the Vatican,
Israels two Chief Rabbis visited Pope John Paul II for the
first time on Jan. 16, establishing a more formal relationship between
Christianity and Judaism.
