Baseball:
strong defense overpowered in championship
Entering the May
17 championship game, the Lions varsity baseball team felt ready to
take a second stab at the pitcher who had shut them out in a prior
meeting.

Junior
Isaac Mizrahi clipped the top of the first hurdle in the individual
400-meter hurdle event at the championship track and field meet,
fell to the ground and suffered a minor concussion and several bruises
on his left side.

BMB wins title
Ending
the season with a 9-6 championship win over the Covenant Life Cougars,
the boys middle school baseball team completed its season with an
overall record of 8-4.

strong season, GVS has a premature exit

a strong regular season finish, the girls varsity softball team
ended its championship run on a sour note with a quarterfinal loss
to the Oakcrest Chargers 22-7 on May 11.

varsity volleyball team fell short of its expectations, losing in
the semifinals to the German School Wildcats.

regular season, the boys varsity tennis team was able to secure
a tie for the postseason tournament title with multiple tournament
victories.
Golf
loses by four strokes, is runner-up in tournament
After finishing
the regular season with a 7-1 record, the golf team failed to win
the postseason tournament, losing to the Washington International
Red Devils by five strokes.
