BMB overwhelming its opponents with ease

The boys middle school basketball team has started strong, amassing a record of 8-0.

Head Coach Shai Fierst attributed this to “big guards and a strong press,” but he believed that more effort would help the team join together to become a stronger unit.

Fierst believes that maintaining a good work ethic is an essential piece to the Lions’ puzzle, since the team has not yet had the chance to play against good teams.

The Lions still have nine games left in the regular season. Although they have not yet lost a game so far, they must stay focused on their goal of a championship.

Fierst acknowledged that his biggest challenge will be to find a way to keep his team rolling. He hopes that the team’s good record will allow the players to “keep it going” and maintain a positive mentality throughout the season.
