Four departments to revise curricula
The History, Science, Hebrew and English Departments are planning to change their curricula for the next school year in order to address several concerns.

Recycle; it’s the law

In a recent investigation, The Lion’s Tale discovered that currently there are no active recycling programs at the Upper School campus. During the freshman class meeting on Feb. 12, Assistant Principal Laura Jacobs told the students that managing recycling has never been the responsibility of the administration but rather that of the students.

Renken leads girls’ teams by example

When new Girls Varsity Basketball Coach and physical education teacher Tracy Renken arrived at JDS this past September, she was relieved to finally take a break from the college basketball scene after seven years of playing and coaching.
